📖 How to Use Your Scale
- Powering On / Off
To Turn On: Press the Z/T ON/OFF button once. The screen will light up and show 0.
To Turn Off: Press and hold the Z/T ON/OFF button for a few seconds, or let it auto-shutoff after a period of inactivity to save battery.
2. Changing Units of Measurement
Press the UNIT button to cycle through your preferred units of measurement (e.g., grams [g], ounces [oz], milliliters [ml], or pounds:ounces [lb:oz], depending on the model's settings).
3. Weighing Ingredients (Standard Weighing)
Turn on the scale and wait for the screen to display 0.
Place your container, bowl, or plate directly onto the scale platform.
The screen will display the weight of the container.
4. Using the Tare Function (Z/T) — Subtracting Container Weight
The Tare function allows you to reset the scale to zero after placing a bowl or plate on it, so you only measure the ingredients inside.
Place your empty bowl or container on the scale. (The screen will show its weight).
Press the Z/T button once. The screen will instantly reset back to 0.
Add your food or ingredient into the bowl. The scale will display only the weight of the ingredient, ignoring the weight of the container.
Multi-ingredient tracking: You can press Z/T again after adding the first ingredient to reset to zero before adding your next ingredient into the same bowl!
